Alpine wildlife tour, guided by a National Park Wildlife Ranger One of the most impressing wildlife-experiences in the Hohe Tauern National Park: to watch the mighty Capricorn (Ibex) from close distance! Since 1960 the Capricorn is reinstated in the Hohe Tauern and during the last 50 years, it´s population has grown steadily. Especially in the Grossglockner area the largest Capricorn population has developed with approximately 250 head of game. An experienced Wildlife Ranger will choose the ideal wildlife-view points, and if you´re lucky, you will spot Marmots, Bearded Vultures and Golden Eagles too.
